Reinforced Shuttlecocks Ltd. or R.S.L. as the company is known throughout the badminton world was formed 76
years ago when the manufacture of shuttlecocks began in London.
From those early beginnings until 1980 R.S.L. shuttles were manufactured at Sandwich the famous old Cinque
Port in Kent. In order to guarantee the supply of top quality goose feathers which are only available in China,
R.S.L. entered into an agreement with the Chinese Government whereby we set up a factory in Canton. With the
Chinese providing the raw materials and R.S.L. with the experience and machinery now perfected over the years,
and excellent combination was achieved. But R.S.L have also continuously improve to provide you the most
cutting edge technology, highest quality and excellent service for R.S.L users at all levels.

Teh all new 150 acres RSL Shuttlecock feather processing plant (about 56 football fields) is the biggest ever build in the world, which deals only with the feather processing. It's currently processing 70 tons per month which amounts to 60 million pieces of feather.
